We were thrilled to deliver a standout build and outfitting project for Elevate Beauty Lofts, one of Toronto’s premier full-service hair and aesthetics salons. Our mission was to build the space into a modern, sunlit retreat for beauty and wellness, combining industrial charm with contemporary elegance.
With only six weeks to bring this vision to life, our team worked diligently under tight deadlines. From planning and design to construction and finishing touches, every detail was carefully executed to ensure a seamless blend of functionality and aesthetic appeal—aligning perfectly with Pamela Facey, the salon owner’s vision. At the end, we delivered a beautifully inviting, stylish, and efficient salon environment designed to enhance both the client experience and daily operations for stylists.
Key Features of the Project:
✅ Exposed Brick Accent Wall: A defining feature of the renovation was the preservation and enhancement of the exposed brick wall, which adds a sense of warmth and character to the salon. This raw, industrial-inspired focal point balances rustic charm with modern sophistication, setting the tone for the space while maintaining a clean and polished look.
✅ Custom Workstations: To support the salon’s full range of services, we installed sleek, functional workstations featuring elegant round mirrors, integrated lighting, and minimalist floating shelves. Every detail was carefully considered, ensuring practicality for stylists and comfort for clients, all while maintaining a cohesive, high-end aesthetic.
✅ Open Concept Design: Pamela envisioned a salon that felt spacious, airy, and bright, and we made that a reality. With white flooring and walls, a clutter-free layout, and strategic use of natural light, the design promotes a sense of openness and relaxation. This minimalist approach creates a tranquil atmosphere, making the space feel welcoming and luxurious.
✅ Functional & Stylish Lighting: Lighting played a crucial role in elevating the space. We carefully placed a combination of modern pendant lights, track lighting, and workstation fixtures to provide ample illumination without compromising aesthetics. These fixtures enhance the salon’s ambiance while ensuring the best possible lighting conditions for hairstyling and beauty treatments.
✅ Impactful Reception Area: One of the highlights of the project was designing an inviting and functional reception area. Our goal was to create a welcoming first impression while maintaining operational efficiency for staff. We incorporated a sleek yet practical counter, stylish pendant lights, and subtle branding elements to ensure the reception blends seamlessly into the overall design without overwhelming the space.
All in all, we successfully transformed Elevate Beauty Lofts’s bare walls into a sophisticated space that balances industrial charm with modern luxury, perfectly suited for its full-service hair and aesthetics offerings. Plus the full Rich by Design team got free haircuts! This was one ouf our fav projects every and it stands as a testament to our commitment to delivering high-quality, client-focused design and construction solutions.
